2414 - A414YAK

2414 was new in February 1984 to The South Yorkshire PTE. Unusually 2414 worked her entire life from Rotherham garage passing from the PTE then to Mainline and finally First Group. Finally withdrawn at the end of 2004 with a gearbox fault 2414 passed into preservation in early 2005. Stored at Kimberworth and then Tinsley 2414 passed to the SJO Club in April 2009. It was decided to have a go and getting an MOT on her for the 2009 rally season. Some 45 man hours later and £500 spent 2414 passed her test first time on 11 July 2009. The SJO Club would like to thank in particular Mick Saunders for his help in achieving the MOT in time to take her to the Elland Road Leeds Rally held in July 2009.
