About Us

The Sheffield Joint Omnibus Club was formed during the Autumn of 2007 to bring together several South Yorkshire PTE vehicles together under one banner.

The group founders have been involved for many years in the preservation of South Yorkshire vehicles and aim to use the group to further their activites in terms of preservation and publicising their activities.

The group currently owns 5 vehicles all of which have operated for South Yorkshire PTE /SYT/Mainline eras but were not necessarily new to the operation - all is revealed in the Our Vehicles section on this website.

It is the groups intention to attend a few rallies in the 2009 season with one or maybe 2 of the vehicles, watch the news section on the website for further details.
