SJO CLUB BUYS ROTHERHAM 2414

Back in April 2009 The SJO club purchased Dennis Dominator 2414 A414YAK from its previous owner. Having been withdrawn at the end of 2004 and passed into preservation in early 2005 2414 had been laid up ever since.

After a quick inspection at Tinsley it was decided to carry out necessary work to gain an MOT with the plan to take 2414 to a few local rallies during 2009.

Some 45 man hours later and just over £500 spent on parts 2414 passed her MOT first time on Saturday 11 July 2009. Since then she has attended the Elland Road, Leeds rally and Sandtoft. Cosmetically 2414 is seen as withdrawn and does look tatty. SJO intend to fully repannel and repaint 2414 in the SYPTE Brown and Cream livery ready for the 2010 rally season.
